TOTEM AMBULANCE RESCUE SLED on occasion it may become necessary to execute a critical medical evacuation. This highly visible, safety orange AMBULANCE RESCUE SLED manufactured by Mid-Canada Fiberglass Ltd. is the ideal piece of equipment to perform this task.

It's generous size will accommodate an occupant, a back board, portable stretcher as well as an attendant who will always be riding in view of the injured person.

The hinged hood locks in the open position to allow easy loading. A windshield and dome light are standard features on all Rescue Sleds.
The rear seat is removable to allow the occupant to be loaded easily from the rear of the sleigh. After placing and securing the stretcher into the sled simply put the rear seat into place and secure with fasteners.

Gear and First-aid equipment can be stored behind the attendant's seat in an open storage compartment which is bordered by a chrome railing. A REMOVABLE TOTE BOX featuring lifting handles and latch, as well as a hinged lid with a gasket is an option.

ATV CONVERSION TRAILER (FOR OFF ROAD SUMMER RESCUE) During winter rescues, the injured person may be away from the main trail. Simply place the back board and person into the fiberglass stretcher and pull the stretcher as you would a toboggan to the main vehicle. There is no need to move the patient again, simply load and secure the stretcher into the main sled.

The Mid-Canada Rescue Sled can also be used as a SUMMER AMBULANCE RESCUE VEHICLE. Simply load the sled onto the ATV trailer and secure it with the adjustable turn screws.	As the trailer comes equipped with low pressure wide tires, it will trail behind any ATV bush vehicle. Now you have an "ALL SEASON RESCUE SLED".
